Good Health Naturally
Good health interwoven with naturally is a concept of great importance given the health challenges we face in today’s world. It is also a very comprehensive statement, stated simplistically. Would you be able to explain clearly what that statement means if someone were to ask you? Let’s look at this more closely, point by point:
Good or Bad To Describe Health?
In times past, health was considered the absence of disease, illness or injury. It’s synonyms reflected this–well-being, in good shape, good condition, balanced, soundness, stamina and wholeness. At some point health began to be described as good or bad. To say bad health would really be an oxymoron as there is no bad in health itself. Health is a blessing. Ghandi stated, “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold or silver.” When you are healthy, you can accomplish your goals, have reserves of energy, endurance and a clear, sharp mind. A healthy appearance has a glow that people notice right way.
Health Requires Action
Health must be attained and maintained. When you set out to attain something or maintain its current status, that requires action. Health must be lived or practiced each and every day. To quote Dr. Richard Schulze, world famous herbalist, “Tomorrow is what you believe and DO today.”
Naturally- A Lifestyle To Support Health
Lifestyle reflects the way one lives or, in this case, taking action to live so as to promote health. Obviously then, one can live so as to build disease. Bad choices and bad habits are two cornerstones of building illness. It is in these two cornerstones where you have control. It is up to you to take personal responsibility to change to good choices and good (health-promoting) habits.
Within the headline, the word naturally brings us to the real crux of the matter. Natural represents what is found in nature. A walk in the woods or relaxing at the beach can restore us just as fresh, unadulterated garden produce can. At cellular level, we require food and environments that promote health.
Natural signifies the opposite of man-manipulated, chemicalized, artificial, synthesized, or counterfeit to what is found in nature. Herein lies the comprehensive part. Awareness of man’s interference with nature, and it’s impact on person and planet is an education crucial to building and maintaining health.
When you understand how and why everyday choices impact your health, you see the need for changes. You may be purchasing and using:
chemically-treated products that off-gas toxins
food and drink merchandise that contains toxins, creating free radicals
toxic personal care products
toxic pet products
toxic cleaning products, causing endocrine disruption
synthetic drugs with side effects
manufactured smoking products containing over 400 additives (many toxic)
Perhaps you are working at an occupation or hobby where you inhale or handle toxic substances. Safe handling with the proper gear and ventilation is important.
A natural lifestyle is chosen based upon accurate knowledge and awareness. This education helps you appreciate and become aware of the human body and what it requires to stay in balance. There are amazing body systems programmed to maintain balance. Detoxification pathways engage to breakdown and rid the body of harmful substances. However, never before have we experienced so many assaults in everyday living from toxins. You make the choices. You have the responsibility to form good habits.
Create a natural lifestyle to promote and maintain health. Your body systems will appreciate the support of intelligent therapies. Bad health is really sickness, illness or disease. As far as it depends upon you, create health. This is good!
